EFG Rapotín BPS
EFG Rapotín BPS was established in 2012 to build up one of the first waste AD plant in the Czech Republic. The plant has been in operation for five years now with a processing capacity of 30 thousand tons of biodegradable waste per year.
It potentially generates electricity and heat for approximately two thousand households. The facility has several sources of income. The first source is the waste disposal, the subsequent source of income is the sale of produced commodities.
From an economic point of view, EFG Rapotín BPS claimed an investment of over CZK 280 million. The current market value of the project is CZK 334 million.

EFG Waste logistic
EFG Waste logistic is strategically integrated into the EFG holding as a waste collecting partner. The company provide us with the distribution as well as the collection of own biowaste containers in the collection area – Olomouc Region.
EFG Waste logistic also binds waste from the transhipment point in South Moravia to ECR Rapotín. The company is to provide 10 ths. tons of waste annually.

EFG Green gas
EFG Green Gas focuses on the efficient gain and utilization of biogas produced in AD plants. We primarily focus on biogas upgrading to biomethane, selling, and distributing it.
The first project of EFG Green gas will be the installation of a biogas upgrading unit for biomethane in an AD plant at ECR Rapotín BPS. By installing the biogas treatment unit on biomethane, we achieve an increase of economic efficiency of utilization biogas of 30%.
An achievement of required national savings on emissions of CO2 is a part of our strategy. We see the way mainly in increase the utilization of biomethane in transport and in development of the market with this „green gas“.

One of the main tasks is the use of waste heat, with which we have plans in synergy with our other projects.
The sources of fuel are diversified because of security of continuous supplying the plant with fuel, where the construction of the boiler enables to combust variable types of fuel.
